Volunteer

There are many ways that you can get involved with the ongoing work and development of Norwich FarmShare. We are always on the lookout for help with fundraising, events, admin, bookeeping and help at the weekly Hub (see below) – to name a few. Please contact Emma if you have skills or interests that you would like to offer.

We are also planning to run some workdays at Park House and Eves Farm during the transition period – keep a look out for information by email or on Facebook.

Helping at the Hub
We have a team of volunteers who look after the weekly Hub. As well as setting up and clearing down (see guidelines below) it involves answering questions (with reference to our FAQs), topping up veg on the tables and generally keeping things tidy and cared for.

Setting up and clearing down guidelines

If you would like to join the Hub team, you can click here to sign up to the rota. There are a number of shifts – helping set up at 3pm, managing the Hub between 4.30 to 5.45 or 5.45 to 7pm, and clearing down at 6.30pm. We will try to ensure that a more experienced person is around to run through things with you if it’s your first time.

Contact Liz if you have any questions.
